Hello
About Me
I began my career in K-12 education, where I spent eight years developing a deep understanding of how people learn and what makes learning meaningful and effective. During that time, I discovered a strong interest in instructional technology and the role it plays in increasing engagement, accessibility, and impact. This led me to pursue a master’s degree in Instructional Technology and transition into instructional design.
Since then, I have applied this foundation beyond public education, designing and leading teams to develop and execute a range of adult learning solutions across in-person, blended, and digital formats. My work includes developing e-learning, performance support, and instructional materials using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Adobe Creative Suite, always with a focus on clarity, usability, and real-world application.
As my roles expanded into broader organizational learning leadership, setting strategy, building frameworks, and enabling learning at scale, I gained valuable perspective on how learning functions within complex organizations. At the same time, it reinforced that my greatest impact and passion comes from being close to the instructional design work itself. I enjoy my work most when it allows me to be hands-on in designing, building, and refining learning experiences, applying learning science and creativity to solve and support real challenges.

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family - camping at a nearby state park or exploring Lake Erie. I love anything on the water and row on a crew team to keep myself active and competitive!
